1.5L Rocca di Bonacciara - 1997 - Tenuta Bonzara
Rocca di Bonacciara comes from a careful selection of Merlot grapes harvested from the best estate vineyards. Particular attention is paid to the vines through grape thinning and green operations, while during vinification, maceration lasts between 3 and 4 weeks with moderate pumping over to promote extraction. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels for aging for 12 months. This is followed by an additional 12 months of bottle aging at the Bonzara winery.
