Wine is an integral part of French heritage. France is one of the great wine nations, which has influenced this industry for centuries and still has a strategic weight in exports, thanks to important emblazoned territories. In our store we have selected the best products from the most important red wine regions of France: Burgundy and Bordeaux.

Bordeaux owes its success to special climatic conditions, its grapes and the relentless work of vignerons. It is undoubtedly the region where the world's most expensive wines are produced, reds from French grape varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot, which make up the famous "Bordeaux blend." The official classification of Bordeaux wines dates back to 1855 and has been in effect ever since. Wines are ranked in order of importance from first to fifth cru, and the only change made was in 1973, when Château Mouton Rothschild was elevated to Premier Cru (the others are Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Latour, Château Margaux and Château HautBrion). Burgundy's wine classification system follows different criteria and is divided into distinct categories, strongly linked to individual vineyards starting with Grand Cru and Premier Cru and descending. The grape varieties in the area are chardonnay and pinot noir, distributed according to the most suitable territories.
