A family property since the 11th century, Castiglioni is the center of origin of the Frescobaldi family's wine production, bearing witness to their exploits since the 1300s. The estate stretches along the ancient Via di Castiglioni. A ruby-red wine with garnet highlights as it ages. Its attractive aromas are of cherry and berries, combined with pleasant spicy notes. Round and velvety, very elegant and supported by thick, non-aggressive tannins.
