Brunello, considered the prince of Montalcino wines, is the result of a careful selection of hand-picked Sangiovese grapes from the oldest vineyards on the Il Poggione estate. After meticulous temperature-controlled fermentation, this fine wine matures in French oak barrels, acquiring complexity and distinctive character. A further period of bottle aging is essential to ensure the extraordinary pleasantness that has made Brunello di Montalcino famous throughout the world. Ruby red in color, its bouquet is intense and persistent, with hints of red fruits. In the mouth it is enveloping and harmonious, with soft tannins that give a long aromatic persistence.
