Azienda Agricola Petra is located in the vicinity of Suvereto, in the picturesque Tuscan Maremma. Specializing in the production of high quality wines, Petra offers a varied selection of wines classified as Toscana IGT, made from a combination of renowned grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese. The estate, which covers an area of 300 hectares (about 800 acres), is situated in the hills of the picturesque Val di Cornia. Due to the diversity of soils present, ranging from stony soil with limestone areas, to alluvial soil rich in minerals and metals, to deep soil rich in lime, it was possible to identify the best areas for growing the different varieties of vines.
