Valtellina Sfursat "Fruttaio Ca' Rizzieri" - 1997 - Aldo Rainoldi
A robust, alcoholic wine made from selected grapes left to dry on racks in the "Ca' Rizzieri" fruit cellar in Trevisio, a locality at an altitude of 500 m above sea level that enjoys an ideal climate, dry and ventilated. Its bouquet is complex and rich, with nuances ranging from herbs to black cherry under spirits, enriched by notes of cinchona and tobacco. In the mouth it is full and enveloping, characterized by powerful tannins but perfectly balanced by the withering. Its finish is prolonged and persistent.
