Dolcetto d'Alba - 2002 - Andrea Oberto
In the 1950s, a Langhe farmer founded a winery in La Morra. After his father's death, Andrea Oberto took over the business, turning it into a renowned wine producer with 14 hectares of vineyards and a production of 80,000 bottles a year. This Dolcetto isdeep red in color with bright purple hues, offering evocative vegetal sensations of green wood and delicate hints of small fruits on the nose. In the mouth it is warm, with a relevant alcohol presence but surprisingly balanced and easy to drink. Good acidity ensures a satisfying taste and smell experience, with a persistence that leaves faint notes of sweet almonds in the mouth.
