Their 1981 Sauternes, made primarily from the Semillon grape with smaller amounts of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, is a classic example of the sweet and complex wines produced in this area. The wine boasts a rich, deep golden color and aromas of honey, apricot and candied citrus. On the palate, it is delicious and full-bodied with flavors of jam, baked apple and vanilla.
