The farm Il Poggiolino was established in the mid-twentieth century, but its history is rooted in the past with origins in the village of Badia a Passignano. The Villa was born in the early twentieth century as the country residence of a Florentine gentleman. Years passed and in 1974 it was purchased by Carlo Pacini. The great passion for nature and sensitivity to the territory meant that two generations followed one another always with a great desire to create a special wine. With these prerequisites, the winery has grown by expanding its body of business, which today covers about 25 hectares divided into vineyards, olive groves, and forest. Fruity with finesse integrated with wood that should not prevail but accompany and support its structure, texture and persistence.
