Chianti Classico - 2016 - Poggio Torselli
Poggio Torselli was initially established as the residence of the Da Casavecchia family, it took until 2005 to bring the vineyards and olive groves back to life, and in 2003 the new cellar was built in time for the first vintage of the new course. Chianti Classico Poggio Torselli has a brilliant ruby red colour, full of lively notes and intense reflections, clear and viscous in the glass. On the nose, complex and fine, the typical Sangiovese fruit dominates with notes of morello cherry, blackberry, cherry and undergrowth. More evolved notes recall vanilla, spices and tea.
