Camelot - 1999 - Firriato
Firriato is an Italian wine producer located in the province of Trapani on the island of Sicily. The elegance of Camelot wine is the result of more than two decades of careful research by Firriato to establish the optimal soil and climate conditions for growing Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Baglio Sorìa's vineyards, located 120 meters above sea level and characterized by their proximity to the Trapani coast and the peculiarities of the terroir, provide the ideal environment for these grape varieties. Thanks to the red marls of the soil, which maintain a constant humidity in the subsoil, a balance between sugar and phenolic ripening is encouraged, a particularly complex challenge in hot climates.
