Brunello di Montalcino - 2013 - Talenti
Only Sangiovese grapes are selected from the estate's vineyards, located on the southeast and southwest slopes of the charming town of Montalcino, at altitudes between 250 and 400 meters above sea level. These soils, characterized by a loamy-sandy texture enriched with clay and a generous presence of galestrous skeleton, offer optimal conditions for the cultivation of this grape variety. After harvesting, the wines undergo a long period of aging in 500-liter French oak tonneaux and 15-25 hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels for at least 24 months, followed by bottle aging. The result is a wine with a deep ruby red color, with garnet highlights, that gives a broad aromatic bouquet on the nose, with delicate spicy accents. In the mouth it stands out for its fullness, intensity and velvety softness, characterized by elegant and enveloping tannins.
