The farm belongs to the Sella family, whose vocation as wine producers dates back to the 17th century (1671). Bramaterra wine is made from Nebbiolo (50-70%), Croatina (20-30%), Bonarda (a rare grape) and Vespolina (10-20%) grapes jointly or individually. It comes from the cliffs that, sheltered by the great Alps, stand on the edges of the Po Valley. The Bramaterra region, east of Lessona, includes several municipalities on a hilly strip to the eastern edge of the province of Biella. Characterized by volcanic soils, it is home to vineyards with an average age of 45 years, with some plantings dating back to 1933. Managed manually, they follow principles similar to those of Lessona, with row training and guyot pruning. The vineyards, largely unthinned, produce quality grapes.
