Barolo "Altenasso" - 2019 - Cavalier Bartolomeo
This Barolo "Altenasso" is a wine produced by the Cavalier Bartolomeo winery and is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It has a garnet color with characteristic orange reflections that become more evident with aging. The bouquet is quite intense, persistent and fine, with hints of blueberry, black plum and slight hints of candied orange peel, dried almond, woody moods and boisè. The taste is dry, just fresh but savory, very warm, still tannic, with good structure and persistence with a bitter background.
