Michele Chiarlo is a producer in the northern Italian region of Piedmont, specializing in wines from its best-known sub-regions. For decades, Michele Chiarlo has worked tenaciously in the vineyards and cellar to consistently elevate the DOC and DOCG wines of the Langhe and Monferrato. A blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes grown in prime locations in the Langhe yields Barilot, an aristocratic red wine with distinct personality. Staying in small oak barrels, followed by aging in the bottle has favored its perfect harmonization. It is a unique wine, a synthesis of the potential of ancient vineyards and a scrupulous production philosophy.
