Barbera d'Asti "Pomorosso" - 1998 - Coppo
The wine takes its name from the presence of a red apple tree that stands out at the top of the original vineyard. It is undoubtedly the most prestigious of the Barberas produced by Coppo and played an essential role in the revival of this vine. Its color is an intense ruby red. On the nose there is a characteristic red fruit, accompanied by pleasant notes of cocoa bean and subtle balsamic nuances, such as those of eucalyptus. In the mouth it is generous with pulp, with a prolonged persistence and a finish that harmonizes perfectly with the elegant olfactory sensations.
