Barbera d'Asti "Emozioni" - 1997 - Tenuta la Tenaglia
Made exclusively from Barbera grapes from the estate's historic vineyards located on hillsides 400-450 meters above sea level, facing south. After vinification, the wine ages in small Tronçais and Allier oak barrels for about a year, followed by further bottle aging for at least 12 months. The wine has an elegant red color with purplish highlights and aromas of ripe red fruit, vanilla and toast. In the mouth, it is enveloping, balanced and elegant, with an impressive structure and a lingering plum finish.
