From Sangiovese grapes grown in the Castelgiocondo vineyards comes this elegantly structured wine that is aged in oak barrels for about a year and refined in the bottle for a few months before becoming Campo ai Sassi. Campo ai Sassi Rosso di Montalcino shows the same characteristics as Brunello, but in a younger and less complex way, it comes from vineyards with vines that have very deep roots and produce aromatic and elegant wines, less tannic than Brunello.
