Shipping policy

GENERAL INFORMATION

Shipping is the customer's responsibility, but if you request it, it will be arranged by Rarest Wines.
Available rates, times and delivery methods are subject to change without prior notification.
We recommend shipping to a business address to be sure delivery on the first attempt and also remember that wine should only be shipped to adults and cannot be sent to
boxes in postal centers or left on premises without a signature.
For the safety of your purchases, wines cannot be combined between different accounts in a single shipment.
We ask for 24-hour advance notice for shipping or pickup requests.
If your request needs immediate attention, please contact us by email(office@rarest-wines.com).
Our customer service is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

BILLING

Shipping and packaging charges will be billed to your chosen payment method.
Once the process is complete, you will receive an email notification of shipment.
Pickups at our location are packed in cardboard boxes provided free of charge; any requests in Styrofoam packaging, large format packaging or orders with pallet pallets, (often requested by outside couriers) may be subject to additional charges.

WEATHER AND CONSERVATION OPTIONS

We want shipping to be as safe as possible and for the wine to arrive undamaged for this reason your order will not be shipped in extreme weather conditions unless clearly requested. Many customers choose to ship when weather conditions allow, meaning that the wine will not be released until temperatures are between -5 and 20 degrees from our location and at the destination. During this time, your wine will remain safe at our warehouse and will be shipped as soon as conditions allow.If you wish to ship your wines as soon as possible regardless of weather conditions, it means that you accept all responsibility and agree that no claims will be accepted.

 

Store and ship your wines:

  • You are free to accumulate bottles, in fact your goods are registered in our facility and then stored free of charge for six months from the invoice date.
  • If you are interested in shipping only a portion of your inventory, contact customer service with a list of the wines you wish to ship and use our "shipping calculator" to see an estimate of price and delivery time.

ORIGINAL SPEAKERS

The original crates, included in some items on our Web site, can be made of wood, cardboard, plastic or metal and are shipped separately from your wines so that the bottles can be packed in Styrofoam cellars set up for their protection.

A separate charge will be applied to these shipments, and because they are not temperature sensitive, they may be shipped before your wines depending on weather and storage preferences.

SHIPPING OPTIONS

We are in contact with various couriers to offer our customers convenient options for shipping their purchases. Select your shipping destination from our "shipping calculator" to view available options, and by requesting shipping from your Rarest Wines account, you will authorize us to pack your shipment in specially designed Styrofoam bins, release them to the courier, and charge the cost directly to your chosen method of payment.

Other Shipping Options

For locations where our shipping services are not available or do not meet your needs, you can also use the services of outside couriers. There are several local third-party wine shipping companies that make pickups at our facility each week.

PICKUP AT THE OFFICE

It is possible to make a pickup directly at our office Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (excluding holidays) at Piazzetta delle Poste 19 in Bassano del Grappa, 36061 VI, just write or call us 24 hours in advance. If in case you cannot come personally to pick up the goods, just provide us via email with the first and last name of the person who will come on your behalf. The person will need to show a valid photo ID to retrieve your order.

Merchandise that is not picked up as scheduled will be subject to a restocking fee.
