Amarone della Valpolicella "Corte Brà" - 2006 - Sartori di Verona
Corte Brà wine, produced in the historic vineyards of Valpolicella Classica, comes from grapes grown with Veronese pergola and spurred cordon. The southern exposure and the clayey calcareous soil favor optimal maturation. The grapes, harvested by hand and left to dry for about three months, lose 30-40% of their weight. After destemming and soft pressing, fermentation takes place and a five-year maturation in wooden barrels, followed by six months of bottle aging. The wine has an intense red color tending toward garnet with aging. The bouquet is complex, with notes of cherry, dried fruit and tobacco. On the palate, it stands out for its power and elegance.
