Primitivo of Manduria - 2004 - Ognissole
Ognissole is a company located in the province of Barletta, in Puglia. Here the vines are grown on the Fragagnano estate, located near Manduria, where the soil has a calcareous composition mixed with tuff layers of medium consistency. The Primitivo undergoes a period of aging in steel lasting about three months, followed by a further period of two months in the bottle before being released onto the market. Characterized by an intense red color, the nose perceives fruity notes of blackberry and cherry, accompanied by light spicy nuances. In the mouth it is warm, rich and velvety.
