Shiraz - 2005 - Cape Mentelle
Cape Mentelle Vineyards è un rinomato produttore di vino situato nella regione di Margaret River, in Australia occidentale. Fondato nel 1970 dai fratelli Hohnen, è una delle cantine più antiche della regione e oggi è di proprietà di LVMH. La tenuta è famosa per il suo Cabernet Sauvignon da singolo vigneto, che ha ottenuto importanti riconoscimenti negli anni '80. Oltre al Cabernet Sauvignon, la gamma di vini di alta qualità include il Two Vineyards Shiraz, Chardonnay e il Wallcliffe Merlot-Petit Verdot-Malbec. Il blend di Sauvignon Blanc e Semillon è lo stile distintivo della tenuta. Con una superficie vitata cresciuta da 16 a 150 ettari, Cape Mentelle produce anche Grenache, Semillon monovarietale e una coppia di vini più economici.
