Rosso Toscana - 2001 - Tenuta Casabianca
Tenuta Casabianca is spread over 650 hectares in the municipality of Murlo, in the province of Siena. The estate is divided over five farms in a setting of incredible beauty. Every choice both in the vineyard and in the winery is made to improve the quality of their product with continuous investment. This 2003 Chianti Riserva has a ruby red color with light garnet highlights. The nose is spicy with hints of carnation, cinnamon and juniper, leather finishes beautifully. In the mouth it is intense and round, the tannins are decidedly velvety. This 2001 blend has a garnet red color, hints of black fruit and berries, tomato leaf and wild. In the mouth it is persuasive with hints of blueberry jam, vanilla, due to the short passage in the barrel, if you pay close attention you will be able to perceive an herbaceous flavor due to the contribution of Merlot that gives elegance to this wine.
