Il Pinot Nero di J. Hofstätter nasce nell'omonimo altopiano, culla di questo vitigno. Ha un colore rosso rubino-granato profondo e presenta note tipiche di sottobosco, bacche e amarene. Al palato è avvolgente, armonioso ed elegante, con molte sfaccettature. Questo vino si esprime al meglio dopo altri due anni di invecchiamento in bottiglia, rivelando tutta la sua complessità e raffinatezza.
