Chianti Classico Riserva "Belvedere Campoli" - 2019 - Conte Guicciardini
Fattoria Belvedere Campòli is located in one of the most prestigious areas of Chianti Classico, right on the ridge of the hills between Mercatale and Montefiridolfi. We are about 400 meters above sea level. The main grape variety, needless to say, is the most Tuscan of reds, Sangiovese, which is vinified in steel and cement vats. At the end of the transformation, then, the wine undergoes a maturation of about a year in tonneaux. Ruby red in color, the nose has typical hints of red fruits and delicate notes of aromatic herbs. In the mouth, on the other hand, it is fresh, with nice juicy and intense fruit. A wine with good structure, the tannins are elegant and well balanced, while the finish is long and complex. Needless to look for a different pairing.
