The first to fully understand and exploit the estate's oenological potential was Princess Eleonora Ruspoli Berlingieri, who began bottling Lilliano wines in 1958, although she had been present in the area since the early 1900s. This wine is very intense on the nose with predominant floral notes, particularly of violets, typical of Sangiovese and a bright ruby red color with a tendency to slight garnet hues. Its flavor emerges immediately with tasting, excellent relationship between structure, tannin and freshness of taste. Good acidity prolongs the sip, enhancing its flavor.
