The first to fully understand and appreciate the estate's oenological potential was Princess Eleonora Ruspoli Berlingieri, who began bottling Lilliano wines in 1958, although she had been present in the area since the early 1900s. This splendid wine possesses a fruity and floral bouquet of good intensity, accompanied by light spicy nuances, as befits vintage Chianti Classico wines. Its taste, on the other hand, is soft with lively yet sweet tannins; the right acidity lengthens the persistence of taste and strengthens its flavor.
