Chianti Classico is an elegant blend of 85 percent Sangiovese, 10 percent Canaiolo and 5 percent Colorino, produced in the area of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Florence, at an elevation of 250 m above sea level. The vineyards thrive on soils of ancient river deposits, rich in pebbles and with a slightly alkaline pH. This wine ages for 12 months in 35 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by bottle aging. In the glass, it shows a bright garnet color. On the nose, it releases fruity aromas of cherry and berries, enriched by notes of violets and sweet spices. In the mouth, it is fresh, with a vibrant fruit vein and well-balanced tannins, making it an ideal companion for multiple food pairings.
