Grattamacco Bolgheri Superiore DOC comes from vineyards between 100 and 200 m above sea level, on soils of quartz sandstone and white clay. Environmentally friendly viticulture ensures a natural balance with low yields. The grapes, hand-picked and selected from 25-year-old vines, offer an aromatic wine with great extractive richness. The vintage shows a generous profile, with an energetic structure balanced by acidic freshness and enveloping tannins. The long persistence and marked sapidity reveal a wine of vitality and complexity, a typical expression of the Bolgheri terroir.
