Il vino si presenta con un elegante rosso granato chiaro, anticipando un bouquet aromatico complesso. Al naso spiccano note di frutta scura matura, come prugne e more, seguite da sentori terziari di pepe nero, sottobosco, spezie e un tocco di anice stellato. Al palato rivela tannini potenti ma ben integrati nella struttura, offrendo un sorso equilibrato e persistente. Ideale in abbinamento con formaggi stagionati, carni rosse o selvaggina, si esprime al meglio anche con la groviera, esaltando la complessità e l'eleganza di entrambi.
