Vigna del Capannino is an exclusive wine produced only in the best years, obtained from Sangiovese Grosso grapes of the monopoly clone of Vigna del Capannino, located on the slope overlooking Monteriggioni, in Bibbiano, Castellina in Chianti. The vineyards extend over 7 hectares and the soil is composed of light blue Pliocene clay and schistose Alberese. The wine has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections, and on the nose it presents aromas of black cherry, plum, sweet spices such as cinnamon and cloves. On the palate it is characterized by a marked flavor wrapped in elegant softness.
