This Franciacorta Brut presents with an intense straw yellow color, enhanced by a very fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers fascinating notes of white and yellow-fleshed fruit, citrus, exotic fruit, hints of spice and slight hints of bread crust. The palate is fresh and rich, with an enveloping finish reminiscent of toasted almonds. Perfect to accompany the entire meal, it enhances with dishes with woodland aromas, such as a risotto with porcini mushrooms. This sparkling wine is the result of a skillful blend of chardonnay and pinot noir, left to rest on the lees for years. Thanks to this long aging, the wine develops remarkable complexity and depth, while maintaining the freshness and elegance typical of Berlucchi Franciacorta wines. A true benchmark in the category.
