The palate of this wine is powerful and complex, showing great finesse and impressive length. Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer, formerly known as Jayer-Gilles, is a 10-hectare estate in Burgundy, renowned for its Pinot Noir-based red wines from Nuits-Saint-Georges and Échézeaux Grand Cru. Located in Magny-lès-Villers, the estate was founded in the 1950s by Robert Jayer and later passed to his son Gilles, who renamed it Jayer-Gilles in 1998. After Gilles' passing in 2018, Swiss billionaire André Hoffmann acquired the estate.
