Chianti Classico Riserva - 2020 - La Montanina
Chianti Classico Riserva D.O.C.G. 2020 is composed of 95 percent Sangiovese and 5 percent Ciliegiolo from the Poggino vineyard. The grapes are carefully selected and undergo maceration without stems for 28 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures for 12 months in used French oak tonneaux, followed by aging in concrete and bottling with wide filtration. The color is bright ruby red, with a complex bouquet of floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it is flavorful, balanced and has fine tannins with a complex personality.
