Chianti Classico - 2021 - Le Fonti
Chianti Classico Le Fonti embodies the winery style, characterized by intensity, authenticity and great drinkability. Composed of 100% Sangiovese grapes, it comes from vineyards located in the westernmost part of the Chianti Classico production area, at an altitude of 300 meters, with south-southwest exposure. The soils, evolved from the geological formation of the undifferentiated complex, are rich in skeleton and have low fertility. Maceration lasts 10 days. Thirty percent of the wine ages for six months in used French oak barrels, while the remaining 70 percent in steel and vitrified cement tanks. The wine has a deep ruby red color, aroma of ripe red fruits, harmonious and persistent flavor.
