3L Barolo IOC - 2013 - Marchesi di Barolo
This Barolo cuvée is made exclusively from grapes sourced from "Historic Cru" in the commune of Barolo, which are characterized by good sloping hills and limestone-clay soils with gray sandstone and quartzose sands. Nebbiolo, an eclectic grape variety, absorbs mineral salts and aromas from the different soil types. The goal is to create a blend that reflects the characteristics of the vintage and the peculiarities of the microclimate. The wine has a garnet red color with ruby undertones, an intense bouquet of spices, tobacco and rose, and a full and elegant taste, with soft tannins and a perfect blend of spicy and woody notes.
