Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - 2015 - Valentini
Valentini's Montepulciano is an extraordinary and complex red wine, considered one of the best in Italy. Produced in Loreto Aprutino from Montepulciano grapes grown without chemicals, it is made only in excellent vintages. After manual harvesting, it ferments with indigenous yeasts and ages for 12 months in oak and chestnut barrels, followed by 4 years in bottle. Deep ruby red in color, it offers a rich nose with notes of coffee, plum, chocolate and humus. The palate is broad, fresh and harmonious, with a long and unforgettable finish. A wine that sits among the world's greats.
