The Montepepe winery is located on the first slopes of a hill near Montignoso (Massa Carrara) a few kilometers from the Versilia sea, in the DOC area of Colli del Candia and IGT Costa Toscana. Montepepe Rosso is a powerful and square wine, the fruit and the tannic tension bounce, giving depth to the wine. Acidity without roughness. Matured in wood which helps the development of the spicy note on the nose, the result of the combination of syrah and massaretta.
