Chianti Classico Riserva - 2020 - La Montanina
The Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2020 is composed of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Ciliegiolo, coming from the Poggino vineyard. The grapes are carefully selected and subjected to maceration without stalks for 28 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, the wine ages for 12 months in used French oak tonneaux, followed by aging in cement and bottling with wide filtration. The color is bright ruby red, with a complex aroma of floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it is tasty, balanced and presents fine tannins with a complex personality.
