Chianti Classico Riserva Pietraia is an elegant and complex wine made from Sangiovese and Merlot. The vineyards, located about 300 meters above sea level and facing southwest, grow on soil rich in Alberese limestone and clay. The wine has an intense ruby red color and offers a balanced bouquet of berries, blackberries, spices and herbs. On the palate, it is tannic, silky and enveloping, with a balanced, dry and slightly spicy finish. This Riserva reflects the terroir with refinement, proving ideal with rich, flavorful dishes.
