Argiolas' Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso is a Sardinian excellence, the fruit of vineyards on limestone soils rich in pebbles in the heart of the province of Cagliari. Created in 1988 by renowned winemaker Giacomo Tachis, it is a blend of Sardinian red grape varieties, with a touch of black malvasia. After a manual harvest between October and November, the grapes are vinified separately, fermented at a controlled temperature and matured in French oak barriques for 18-24 months, followed by bottle aging. This wine is distinguished by its deep ruby red color, aromas of berries and pepper, and warm, round and persistent taste with elegant, well-integrated tannins. Ideal with red meats, roasts and aged cheeses, it offers extraordinary longevity and represents the soul of the Sardinian winemaking tradition.
