Torcolato - 2002 - Maculan
Maculan is an Italian wine producer located in Veneto in the DOC area of Breganze. It was founded in 1947 by Giovanni Maculan and has remained family-run for three generations. The grapes are dried in the fruit cellar for four months and the resulting wine has a bright golden color. The bouquet is intense with notes of honey, flowers, vanilla and noble woods. In the mouth it is sweet and full with an excellent balance between acidity and sugars, which makes it "sweet-not-sweet."
