Single Malt Scotch Whiskey - 1980 - Benromach
Benromach is a family-run malt whiskey distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Founded in 1898 and reopened in 1998, it is known for its slightly smoky character. It uses local malted barley with a touch of peat and water from Chapelton Spring. Fermentation takes three to five days, using brewer's and distillers' yeast for added complexity. Distillation takes place in two copper stills, with maturation in Bourbon and Sherry casks.
