Sassaia - 2005 - Angiolino Maule
Sassaia is produced with 90% Garganega and 10% Trebbiano grapes from vineyards located near our winery in Gambellara. The soil is mainly clayey, rich in skeleton and of volcanic origin. The color is an intense straw yellow. On the nose it is mineral, initially delicate but fascinating. In the mouth it has a soft entry, supported by a light tannicity. The finish is enlivened by a good acidity that perfectly balances finesse and power.
