A synthesis of the power of Sagrantino and the elegance of Sangiovese, the Montefalco Rosso from Tenuta Castelbuono, certified organic, fully expresses the charm of a territory with ancient traditions. The nose immediately strikes for the elegance and complexity of the open aromas of cherry and morello cherry, cloves and ends in balsamic essences. This blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino, 8% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of forest floor, espresso, mocha and blackberry. On the palate, notes of coffee and vanilla support ripe plums, black cherries and white pepper. The tannins, firm and well-bound, give structure, but need time to soften and relax.
