Chianti Classico Riserva "Le Bandite" - 2020 - Lornano
Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is a wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes from a single vineyard located at 330 meters above sea level, with a South/South-West exposure. The vineyards are cultivated with the spurred cordon system, on soils of stratified sands and alluvial schist. The grapes, harvested between October 10 and 20, are destemmed and vinified in stainless steel, with a maceration on the skins for 25 days at 26°C. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 20 months in French oak barrels, followed by 6 months in the bottle. It is a full-bodied wine with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, licorice and tobacco, and a long finish with notes of blood orange.
