Castello di Querceto is a Tuscan estate near Greve on the northeastern edge of the Chianti Classico region. It is best known for its classic-style reds from the Chianti Classico DOCG, but also produces a wider range of wines, mostly from Sangiovese (occasionally with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon). This Chianti is full ruby red in color, with red fruit and floral notes. Elegant tannins supported by a persistent and balanced finish.
