Chianti Classico Gran Selezione "Purosangue" - 2016 - Livernano
The Casalvento winery in Chianti Classico was purchased by Robert and Gudrun Cuillo in 1997 and, together with Livernano (purchased in 2002), has formed a single entity since 2013. Livernano is an organic farm that produces high-quality wines, olive oil, honey, vegetables and fruit. With 25 hectares of vineyards planted with nine grape varieties and 1000 olive trees, the property is surrounded by 60 hectares of woods. The state-of-the-art winery is built in harmony with the landscape. Modern cultivation and winemaking techniques, together with careful selection of vines, ensure low but high-quality yields. Since 2015 the company has been in organic conversion.

Only bottles that pass the second inspection are marked with the VR quality seal and signed by the inspector.
