The company owes its name to the numerous Carpino trees that characterize the area. Located not far from Siena, the company is distinguished by the possibility of being able to produce on different terroirs and this means that different varieties of grapes have been cultivated: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and in smaller quantities Alicante and Petit Verdot. Family-run and property that has been handed down for centuries for Carpineta Fontalpino. Dofana is a Cru coming from a single vineyard, 100% Sangiovese. Austere and mysterious wine, with notes of ripe fruit, marked but sweet tannins. Aftertaste of vanilla and tobacco.
