Chianti Classico - 2021 - Vallepicciola
This Chianti Classico is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes, a variety that represents this denomination in the world. Coming from the Vallepicciola vineyards in Castelnuovo Berardenga, located between 380 and 440 meters above sea level, it grows on calcareous and clayey soils with the presence of galestro and alberese. The harvest takes place in the second half of September, with a yield of 65 quintals per hectare. The training system is spurred cordon. The wine has a light ruby red color and on the nose offers aromas of red forest fruit, plums, violets, and a typical spiciness of black pepper.
